Established in 2006, Painted Horses is a limited liability company organized by April Roglitz, LCSW. Painted Horses was planned with the sole purpose to provide counseling services for individuals, families, or groups who would like to participate in Traditional Therapy or Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Since its' formation Painted Horses, LLC has added services offered to consist of riding lessons based on natural horsemanship concepts, and a horse-breeding program.

Painted Horses is Located at Windy Pine Acres in Richmond Maine. Built by April and David Roglitz, and family, the facility has often been described as “Nice and homie”, “quaint”, and a "place to be relaxed, and feel connected". In the barn we have 3 horse stalls and an office where we hold our traditional counseling sessions. We have 2 horse stalls adjoining the barn. A 32 X 32 outdoor paddock sits behind the barn. We also have a 120 x 60 outdoor arena on the property. We are working towards building a 60 by 40 enclosed arena.
